Physical exams are also required by most nursing programs. Depending on your insurance company these can become very expensive. In general, you must get a comprehensive physical, blood work, tuberculosis testing, and urine analysis. The requirements for medical testing differ with each school but one thing that most all schools require is a record of immunization. You can receive this from your childhood doctor.

All of these things can become very overwhelming when you are trying to reach your schools deadline. However, most universities have a packet of information that lists all of the requirements that you must complete before entering the program. By sticking to the checklist, staying on top of the deadlines, and getting the exams done early, you will find this process much less stressful.
